The HMB Boys continued their dominance in the PAL North notching their eighth win Wednesday night against El Camino by 33 points, 74-41. As opposed to the first matchup in which the Colts bolted to a 17-4 lead on 3s from C. Viana, the Cougars clamped down on defense holding Viana to a single made shot for the game and El Camino to a grand total of 14 points in the first half; no player eclipsed double digits in the game.
Meanwhile, the Cougars torched the nets scoring 26 in the 2nd led by a return performance of the hot outside shooting of Sean Kennedy. Kennedy absolutely smoked the net making 4 consecutive threes in the second quarter and 5 for the game to lead all scorers with a cool 19. The Cougars had their best shooting game of the season as 4 of 5 starters shot better than 50% and the team collectively was within range of 50% for the game.
