Half Moon Bay hosted PAL Lake Champion Jefferson Saturday morning with a CCS berth on the line. Senior Noah Gandelman started on the mound and set the tone with a 1-2-3 first inning. In the bottom of the 1st Danny Mack scored on a Dawson Campbell single. In the bottom of the 2nd Preston McAuley drove in Jack Mettam with a ground ball to the 2nd base. Gandelman stayed in a groove with his third consecutive 1-2-3 inning in the top of the 3rd. In the bottom half of the inning Jakob Meighen just missed a Home Run but ended up with a double. Campbell drove in Meighen with another single. In the bottom of the 5th David Fisher blew the game open with a 2 RBI ground rule double. Gandelman allowed his only run to score in the 6th. He finished off his last two outs in the 7th with strikeouts. Gandelman threw a complete game with 6 strikeouts and only 1 walk. Half Moon Bay earned their way into the CCS playoffs with the win.
